RE: 2010 Agriculture Technology Conference
The 2010 Agriculture Technology Conference is scheduled for January 15th and 16th at the Best Western Kelly Inn in St. Cloud. The workshop registration fee is $ 75.00 and includes breaks, meals and materials.
Region 8 has developed an excellent program to meet your professional development needs. We have arranged for a nice selection of workshops for secondary, post-secondary and adult educators.

A block of room at the Kelly Inn has been reserved for our conference. Make your own hotel reservations by calling (320) 253-0606. Room rates are $86.00 (plus 12.375 % tax) for 1-4 persons per room, and $104.00 for poolside rooms. The block of rooms and conference rates are good until December 17, 2009. Be sure to indicate that you are with the MAAE Agriculture Technology Conference. MAKE YOUR HOTEL RESERVATIONS EARLY – DO NOT EXPECT ROOMS AFTER THE CUTOFF DATE!
The University of Minnesota Division of Agricultural Education will be offering one semester graduate credit. ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED FRIDAY EVENING AND ALL DAY SATURDAY. Indicate on the registration form if you plan to enroll for credit. You can register and pay the tuition at the conference site.
MAAE Conference Scholarships will again be available for the Ag-Tech and Summer Conferences. Applications are available on our website. IF YOU RECEIVED A SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE 2009 CONFERENCES, SUBMIT A GRADE SLIP OR TRANSCRIPT TO RECEIVE YOUR SCHOLARSHIP.
We request you return the registration form ASAP, but no later than DECEMBER 18, 2009. This will allow us flexibility in scheduling workshops. Check the MAAE website www.maae.umn.edu for weather related announcements.
